Hinulugang Taktak is a popular weekend destination located in Antipolo City, Rizal. The natural waterfalls and riverways found here are its major attractions. The immediate area around the waterfalls was given a protected landscape status by the national government in order to preserve its natural beauty. Water pollution has been a problem in past decades. Fortunately, efforts to restore the area have been successful. The site was recently rehabilitated in 2015 and again in 2020. This focused on reducing water pollution in the area as well as developing new tourist infrastructure. These include a viewing deck in front of the waterfalls, a spider web-like viewing platform above the falls, a rock climbing wall, a large outdoor pool, and treetop decks connected by hanging bridges.
